About me

I am a postdoc at Cambridge, reporting to Peter Varju. My research is mostly about group theory and combinatorics, but sometimes I pretend to branch out. I did my phd at Oxford with Ben Green, finishing in 2016, and then spent a few years outside academia. I now live in Belfast with my wife and daughter.

The point of the blog is to share papers, questions, conjectures, etc that I find interesting, and occasionally to publicize my own research. Sometimes the point is to air my opinions and pretend that readers are nodding.

Please do not hesitate to comment or to get in touch! My email address can be found at the bottom of any of my papers (on the arxiv).
